ALFA Energy Fund

ALFA Energy Fund is a specialty fund according to the Investment Funds Act (2004:46). The ALFA Energy Fund is a quantitative hedge fund that invests in energy and energy-related commodities. This means that the Fund's assets will be invested in Stock Exchanges for commodities, currencies, interest rates and stock indices. The Fund is denominated in EURO.

The Fund's primary objective is to achieve a sustained high risk-adjusted return. In addition, the Fund strives for a low correlation with traditional asset classes as a tool for the diversification of the portfolio in stocks and bonds.

The Fund has a management objective on an average yield level 15 to 25 percent on an annual basis and a standard deviation of 10 to 20 percent. The Fund is therefore considered to be a fund with ‘medium risk’. The aim is to achieve an average yield level over a period of 3 years or longer. The investments in futures contracts are quoted on the Stock Exchange.

The Fund's assets may be invested in transferable securities, money market instruments, derivatives and on accounts of credit institutions. The Fund's assets may be invested in such derivative instruments where the underlying asset is transferable securities, money market instruments, financial indices, interest rates, exchange rates and/or foreign currencies.
